IT'S ABOUT ME!!!

Well THAT NEVER HAPPENS - or so it's told - when I got the call and the heads up from the gang at Sunstream!!!

And never mind the topic (we ALL KNOW HOW DIFFICULT THAT ONE IS)...SHELLY did a fabulous EXPOSE and photo op!!! (and well how many different pics do you need to show - when one will aptly do)!!!


So far - all the votes are in FAVOUR!!! A FAB LOOK - well I had a FAB HAIR DAY with Jon Paul Holt and Kevin at Avant Garde Salon - stay tuned for their latest in salon specialties.

I'm TOLD the look is definitely LA Baby!!! So there you go...

Cafe Il NIDO's Event!!!

Well from the crisp bubbly of Italian Proseco to the scrumptious lambchops, to the entertaining guests, and to the fabulous host Franco - a good time was had by all.

Surrounded by Fabulous artwork by our latest clients NEW ORIGINAL ART - the pieces were a topic of conversation all night. Preparing to launch their newest works of art - the pieces on the wall are for sale and will culminate in the passing over to the new owners of the piece followed by the hanging of the newest piece (oh and commissions now will ensure Christmas time delivery!!!)...






Christie Grace was on hand wearing one of her fabulous pearl and silver necklace and earring sets. Talking up her upcoming CD which launches in the Fall and will have one or two recordings with Paul Shaffer of David Letterman Fame!!! (They both grew up in Thunder Bay!!!)

Looking forward to next years event Franco, who will be celebrating his 20th Anniversary since Cafe Il Nido opened at the very same location at Robson and Thurlow!!!

explorAsian Has Arrived!!!

Here's Joy Lin Salzberg, President of explorAsian, Norman Wong and Sandra Murphy, from SHAW Multicultural Channel.

From the FABULOUS reception held at the WILD GINGER in Tinseltown, to the GREAT People, and equally FABULOUS entertainment by Andrew Kim, who has created his own physical manifestation of fusion of guitar, sitar, and electric guitar (it allll rhymes somehow)....

The music is enchanting, as who else can create the music for an instrument that does not yet exist??? Well - Andrew has created a musical instrument, and found himself in creating the music that is played on this unique magical piece.




Here's the gang from the Indonesian Association of BC, including Budi Setiawan H., and Don Montgomery.


Guests included Don Montgomery (well really he's the host)...Joy Lin Salzberg, President of explorAsian, Greg Chan recently seen in Dragon Boys, Rick Tae, along with our friends from the Dragon Boat Race organizers, and of course - the Gang from SHAW Multicultural Channel.

(Hard WORKING) Partiers included Valerie Sing Turner, and Actor Rick Tae!!!
