Now while I've loved her for years - and (when the hair is just right...it's too long now) I've been 'mistaken for her' (and been to honest to take advantage of the poor souls)...

I saw this recent pic of her (and those who've seen me with the hair) I dare you to see the comparison - and the fact she's taking her OWN PIC...well REALLY - are we NOT SISTERS???!!!

Busy, Busy Adam Carolla....

Well since the Victoria Film Festival brought Adam up from LA and housed him at the FABULOUS Fairmount Empress Hotel to promote his recently released THE HAMMER, (which we garnered some fantastic interviews) he's been very very busy. While up here we hope he and his wife Lynette had time for a bit of fun, but since then he's back at his radio gig AND he's also a contestant on one of the HOTTEST reality shows - DANCING WITH THE STARS!!!

If you don't know Adam (but listen to him on his am show) you would not know how TALL the man is...so poor Julianna - her neck probably hurts!!! That being said we wish him well!!! But it appears he's going to have to spend more time practicing. As a recent guest on the TONIGHT SHOW with JAY LENO he told Leno he only spends a couple of hours a day. Well his competition practices 6 - 8 hours a day and they certainly are doing better with the judges. PERHAPS they are more serious about winning!!!

WOMEN IN FILM GALA!!!

What a great night - to hang with old friends and meet new ones...Inspiring for sure. Sad for sure. It was unbelievable how many recipients of the awards all mentioned that their retirement plans were somewhat non-existent. Although I'm sure a few were jesting, I also felt the truth in what they were saying. I myself have been following the guru's of Suze Orman and Oprah over the past several years since my lifestyle change (READ D - I - V - O - R - C - E) AND the sale of my company to a publicly traded firm whose name I shall not put in print but slag at every oppportunity (let it go...just let it go)!!!

While young at heart, all of the winners spoke some truth, in the fact that 'our industry' (film) does not have any retirement structure or protection in place which even to myself sounds so well - dare I say - WRONG!!! But totally true.

Now I need to see what I can do to change that around...stay tuned!!! Damn and the evening started so well.
